These pictures are from Glencoe which is a large valley (famous for it scenery and a massacre that occured here about 300 years ago) about 20 miles South of my hometown Fort William.Glencoe means "Valley of Weeping" and today is almost unihabited (though a famous British TV presenter Jimmy Savile lives there). The Aonach Eagach is a ridge along the tops of the mountains on one side of Glencoe. To commemerate that there is a park of communist propaganda statues at the end of the town. Looks a bit incongrous amongst the monutanins, flags and temples.
